What is Physiotheraphy?
Essentially, physiotherapy is the treatment of an injury by physical methods, such as massage, exercise or dry needling, rather than by drugs or surgery.
What do private practise physiotherapists treat?
Physiotherapists gain experience treating musculoskeletal, respiratory and neurological conditions during their training. Private practice physiotherapists mainly specialise in the musculoskeletal area – which translates to treating muscles, bones, joints, nerves, tendons, ligaments, discs etc. We can treat most types of physical pain.
You do not need a referral from your GP to attend physiotherapy with us, just contact us and we’ll book you in. If we need information from your GP, we will contact them ourselves, providing we have your permission first.
