“I had been suffering from chronic pain for years. I suffered from joint pain and muscular pain as well as severe fatigue. I had been on prescription pain killers for 4 years with little relief.
I had been attending a rheumatologist for 3 years. I was initially diagnosed with fibromyalgia and then with Secondary Sjogrens Syndrome with rheumatoid arthritis. I’ve had to take courses of steroids along with other prescribed medication.
I was a regular at the gym for approx 20 years taking part in competitions and also holding the Irish record for power lifting. I was forced to give all of this up. Furthermore I had to quit my job 3 years ago on my doctor’s advice. I had to have bed rest on a daily basis sometimes for 3 or 4 hours.
Within weeks of starting treatment and Pilates with BodyBalance I noticed a significant difference. I had a greater range of movement in my joints. Now 5 months later I am off all medication. I have very little pain and certainly not on a daily basis and my energy levels are way up. Best of all I am back at work full time! I am living a normal life again.
