No, you do not require a doctor’s referral. Please be aware however that many health insurance companies require a doctor’s referral prior to authorising treatment under your policy. Please contact your health insurer for further information.
I have Private Health Insurance - am I covered?
Yes, at BodyBalance we are recognised by most health insurers in Ireland. There are many factors that influence the remuneration for physiotherapy services and it would depend on the type of policy, the number of treatments and the total amount of medical expenses accumulated within one subscription year.

All treatment fees are settled with Bodybalance Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic at the time of treatment. Your receipts can be submitted to your health insurer in order to recieve remuneration.
